The Clarkson College Registered Nurse (RN) to Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree option ranked #3 on Online School Guide’s list of top online MSN program options in the nation and is the only school in Nebraska to make the list.
The organization ranks accredited online or hybrid programs based on tuition cost, reputation, and salary following completion. Following trends within the health care field, employers are increasingly seeking Bachelor’s or Master’s degree-prepared nurses to staff facilities, and the RN to MSN option at Clarkson College helps meet this need.
Nurses with an Associate’s degree can complete the program option to advance their scope of practice. While completing the curriculum, students earn their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees while choosing from specialty options in Nursing Healthcare Administration, Nursing Education, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner.
Coursework is available primarily online with limited on-campus visits for nurse practitioner majors. Students can choose full- or part-time options and enroll in courses in the spring, summer or fall.
