RegisteredNursing.org recently ranked the Clarkson College Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) option as the #3 best program in the state of Nebraska. It was also rated the highest BSN option in Omaha.
According to the rankings, "Clarkson College in Omaha is home to an exceptional BSN program for aspiring RNs. With class sizes kept to a minimum and the guidance of experienced instructors, students are given a solid foundation for nursing excellence. Hands-on experience via the on-campus skills lab and simulation lab, as well as area medical facilities, begin in the first year of the program."
The Registered Nursing organization ranks programs by utilizing data from multiple sources including the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and U.S. Department of Education Office of Postsecondary Education. Individual programs are awarded points based on certain factors including whether or not the institution is accredited and if they offer online education options. The methodology also considers acceptance rate, graduation rate, diversity of options and other factors.
