Clarkson College names Adrienne Rochleau, DNP, CRNA, as the new Program Administrator of its Nurse Anesthesia program option. Dr. Rochleau joined the College community in 2014 as the Program Coordinator for Nurse Anesthesia and has served as the Assistant Director of the Nurse Anesthesia program option since 2017.
“I am honored to take on this role,” she says. “It is my goal to continue to produce highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) and grow our program. As I take on the role, I am reminded of a quote from Lou Holtz, who is known for coaching football at Notre Dame, ‘ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.’”
“Dr. Rochleau demonstrates outstanding care and concern for the profession of nursing and is a strong advocate for the profession of nurse anesthesia,” says Andreia Nebel, Ed.D., PT, DPT, FNAP, Vice President of Academic Affairs. “As she transitions to the Administrator role, she will also be an excellent collaborator for the Graduate and Undergraduate Nursing departments, as well as a strong leader for students, faculty, the department and College as a whole.”
Dr. Rochleau earned her Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Mount Marty College and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University. She maintains active clinical practice hours as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist at Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine and Montgomery City Memorial Hospital.
Jayne Cromer, DNP, CRNA, who previously served in the Director role, is retiring in March 2021 after years of dedicated service to Clarkson College.
